Jamie formally joins the club after supporting the senior squad towards the end of last season, where he quickly made a positive impression on players and club officials alike. His appointment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Harborne RFC as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.

Bringing over a decade of coaching experience across senior and Under-18 rugby, Jamie arrives with an impressive coaching CV. He spent five successful seasons within the senior coaching setup at Bromsgrove RFC, while also leading the club's Academy side to promotion and a North Midlands Final.

Alongside his club commitments, Jamie has coached both the Under-18 and Senior County representative sides and is a Director at ProAcademy Rugby, where he continues to help develop the next generation of players and coaches.

Speaking following his appointment, Jamie said:

"Harborne have had a challenging few seasons on the pitch, but my time with them last season showed me there is some real talent in the group. Hopefully, with some improved structures and a stronger set piece, we can allow that talent to perform."

Known for his structured approach, high standards and rugby IQ, Jamie has quickly earned the respect and buy-in of the playing squad.

One of his first decisions as Head Coach has been the appointment of Will Arnold as Backs and Skills Coach. A familiar face and an integral part of Harborne RFC, Will knows the players inside out and has already begun developing his coaching expertise under Jamie's guidance.

Together, Jamie and Will form an exciting new coaching team that combines fresh ideas with a deep understanding of the club's culture and ambitions.

With two new coaches leading the way and a talented squad ready to embrace the challenge, Harborne RFC looks ahead to the new season with renewed belief, ambition and excitement.
