We are delighted to confirm that Jon Arch has joined us as our new Head Coach. Jon took his first session last night and will be with us for training and match days going forward.

Below is a statement from Jon

“I am exceptionally honoured to have been asked to become Head Coach at Harborne RFC in what promises to be an exciting time for the club both on and off the pitch. I want to develop further the attractive and expansive style of rugby for which Harborne have become synonimus for over the years. Following last years ‘break’ from league rugby, Mids 3 West North promises to be a very competitive league this season, and after 18 months with no proper rugby all sides will be going into the season a little unsure as to where they are following the break. I have though already set high targets for myself and the players which I believe are achievable with this exceptionally talented group of players.

Current, past and new players are welcome to come join us at training - to me the most important thing about training is has to be enjoyable. Sessions are planned to develop players of all ability in a safe and structured way, it will be hard work but hopefully with a lot of fun and laughs along the way.”
